Transam from Redline

October 16th, 2015

It’s been a long time since my last post… I started this car from the anime REDLINE last year and kinda gave up but recently I told myself I really had to finish it because it looks quite cool, so here it is!

The images are just screenshots from the 3Ds Max viewport.

Greyhound bus depot (Columbia)

May 23rd, 2014

Hi there, here’s my new 3D construction, it’s a Greyhound bus depot from Columbia (it’s not a bus depot anymore and the building has lost a lot of details from its “golden age”).
I’m a fan of art déco architecture so making a Greyhound building was almost mandatory for me ^^
Made with 3Ds Max and Photoshop, imported in the CryEngine SDK. I made everything myself except the vegetation (it’s from the SDK).

[WIP] Palacio de Bellas Artes

April 14th, 2014

Hi there, I’ve been working on a pretty big interior but it’s really huge and I lost my main source of reference (a “virtual visit” that went offline) so I’m putting this aside for now, will make something smaller in the meantime, but here are some WIPs anyway.
For your information, this is the interior of the main hall of the “Palacio de Bellas Artes” of Mexico. An amazing art déco interior!
Screenshots from the CryEngine SDK.

Slum

December 12th, 2012

Here is another unfinished scene (I often start stuff that I never finish…). When I played Max Payne 3 it really inspired me and I started this slum environment, imported in the CryEndine SDK (using the SDK vegetation):

Silver Star

December 12th, 2012

Here’s a project I started recently but will probably never finish… My goal was to model this rollercoaster and import it in the CryEngine SDK as usual, but I have a pretty annoying issue (see here for more info about this problem) and apparenty no one knows how to fix it so…

Empire State Building clock/compass

November 18th, 2012

Hi all, here’s a quick exercise, wanted to model something quite detailed and Art-déco related so here it is!
I’d like to thank hecestmoi (on DeviantArt) for sharing cool architecture photos, really inspired me here!

Little anecdote: I couln’t find the appropriate font so I made the numbers and letters myself…

Done in 3Ds Max and “rendered” in the CryEngine SDK.

Toyko by night

October 20th, 2012

Hi all, here is a small scene inspired by burningmonk’s photography, check out his gallery!
I did everything myself using 3Ds Max and Photoshop and then put everything in the CryEngine SDK (the tree is the only asset I used from the SDK).
Post-prod: a bit of sharpen, a bit of noise and the black bars.
Hope you’ll like it!

Fable house in CryEngine

May 12th, 2012

Hi, I’m not dead, here’s a little something: you may remember this house I made…. last year (already one year!!), well now that I’m a bit familiar with the CryEngine SDK, I tried to import this little scene, so here it is (the trees are from the SDK):

Photo!

January 9th, 2012

Hi, nothing new in 3D (some work is in progress), but I’ve started to practice photography more seriously (bought a DSLR).
I publish my best photos on 500px: my account, and many more on my DeviantArt profile.
Hope you’ll like it!

From now on, I’m going to make more buildings, just to pratice. Always taken from reference, found this one on Google Street View.

Cry Engine test

December 5th, 2011

Hi, I’m still alive, been working on several scenes and not even finished one… So here’s a quick one I made just to test lighting and mood (mostly self-illumination) in the Cry SDK. Based on a photo by Matt Barnes.

Insane Track

August 14th, 2011

Hi there people… I present you an old Trackmania track I made probably 2 or 3 years ago, but never had the courage to validate it.
So I did it… my time is not perfect but at least now this track is in your hands and I hope you’ll enjoy it like I enjoyed creating it!
It’s nearly 50km long and it’ll take more than 12 min to complete, good luck!

Big thank you to my friend Quentin Gardiennet, who invented a lot of the stuff you’ll see in this track.

Enjoy!

Update V1.2: I improved some areas of the track that were too frustrating/hard, and I added the automatic camera changes for each big stunt!

“Be ready to fight the horde!”

August 13th, 2011

Okay, here’s my latest scene, which is a sort of Left 4 Dead fan art. The idea was to create a L4D-ish environment and for once, to do something industrial and most of all a complete scene, with a sky and everything. This picture is a screengrab of Max 2012’s viewport, with its realistic mode enabled. Just a little post-prod for the noise (and sharpen). It’s around 53 000 tris.
By the way, you should imagine seeing the 8 survivors (from L4D and L4D2) preparing their weapons to confront a horde of angry infected (which you should see the shadows on my buildings).
